Coastal Day Camp

Coastal Day Camp is a five-day coastal programme for children aged 8–12, run from our Day Base on the Costa da Caparica. Children arrive each morning, spend the day on the beach and at the base with their group, and head home with their family in the late afternoon. The week mixes beach and movement games, beginner-friendly bodyboarding, creative workshops, cooperative challenges and quiet time in the shade. On Wednesday the group takes a short trip to the nearby coastal pine forest, and on Friday the week closes with a gallery of everything the children have made. Children stay in one of two stable groups for the whole week – Dunes for younger campers and Harbour for older ones – each with its own group leader.
