Atlantic Surf Camp

Three weeks on the Atlantic coast of Tenerife, where children and teens learn to surf, live alongside new friends and come home a little braver.

Atlantic Surf Camp is our flagship residential programme. Campers aged 10 to 17 spend twenty-one days on the volcanic coast of Tenerife, surfing every day with certified coaches, exploring the island, and living together in a supervised on-site residence just a short walk from the beach. It is built for families who want their child to grow in confidence and independence in a safe, welcoming and genuinely fun environment.

No experience is needed. On the first day our coaches run a gentle in-water assessment and form small, ability-based groups, so complete beginners and confident surfers each progress at their own pace. Morning sessions run when the conditions are best, with afternoon surf theory, technique work and video review to help every camper improve quickly and safely.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need any surfing experience?

Not at all. Most campers start as complete beginners. Coaches group participants by ability, so first-timers and confident surfers each progress at the right pace.

How are ability groups decided?

On the first day coaches run a gentle assessment in the water, then form small groups by skill and confidence. Groups are reviewed through the three weeks as campers improve.

What is included in the price?

Accommodation, full board, all surf sessions and equipment, the activity and excursion programme, and 24/7 supervision. Flights and travel insurance are not included.

How do you handle allergies and medication?

Families provide dietary, medical and medication details during registration. Our kitchen caters for common allergies, and first-aid-trained staff manage any medication safely on site.

Can we stay in touch with our child during the camp?

Yes. Families receive regular updates and photos through the CampOrganizer app, and there are scheduled times for calls home during the stay.
